“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘See, I will break the bow of Elam, the mainstay of their might. I will bring against Elam the four winds, from the four quarters of heaven;
I will scatter them to the four winds, and there will not be a nation where Elam’s exiles do not go. I will shatter Elam before their foes, before those who want to kill them;
I will bring disaster on them, even my fierce anger,’ declares the Lord.
“ ‘I will pursue them with the sword until I have made an end of them. I will set my throne in Elam and destroy her king and officials,’ declares the Lord.
“ ‘Yet I will restore the fortunes of Elam in days to come,’ declares the Lord.”
Many biblical scholars identify the ancient territory of Elam with the modern-day nation of Iran.
We are living in unprecedented times where we are witnessing this biblical prophesy of Jeremiah being fulfilled in our midst.
For the last 47 years the Iranian people have been living under a brutal murderous regime.
Millions of Iranians have fled Iran and are scattered to the four winds of the Earth.
The Iranian people have been crying out for deliverance from this tyrannical regime.
The regime recently slaughtered 35,000 of their own people. Thankfully the 47th president of the USA, together with Israel and their Arab partners, have reigned down justice upon this regime.
Evil can only prevail when good people do nothing. The Iranian people are already dancing in the streets rejoicing at their impending freedom.
Let’s all pray for the complete eradication of this evil regime, for a new leader chosen by God to lead the Iranians into a new future and for Iran to become the centre of revival across the Middle East.
