With the permission of the Finley Public School P&C, several pesky little elves have been taking over some residents’ front lawns in the middle of the night.
The elves hold them to ‘ransom’ in exchange for a donation to the school.
Lyn and Leo Little were among the latest to be surprised, but delighted, to find they had unexpected guests.
And they gladly paid the ransom.
They would not divulge who they nominated as the next victim, though.
It’s certainly an interesting way to raise money for the school, and generate some festive cheer in the community at the same time.
The Finley Public School P&C would like to thank everyone for joining in on the fun for this imaginative fundraising venture, and wish members of the community a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
