Colour and excitement take presence as uniforms take on brighter looks.
The day’s extra activities will include a smoking ceremony, jumper auction and live music from 6pm.
In addition, Mathoura Football Netball Club is offering free entry for the day’s activities, even delivering flyers for entry.
Get along for a great day of footy and netball and support our local team in the final round of the Picola League home and away season.

The Mathoura community is mourning the loss of popular local man Doug Berryman.
Douglas Winston Berryman was a stalwart of our community – heavily involved with, but not restricted to, the bowling club.
If something needed to be done, he was there.
A service to farewell Doug and acknowledge his contribution to our community will be held at the Uniting Church on Tuesday at 11am.
Due to limited seating, the service will also be live screened at Mathoura Bowling Club.
Sympathy is extended to Doug’s wife Verna and their family.

Hasn’t it been great having regular trains rumbling through town again!
The sound of the whistle brings back memories of kids running out to the front of the house to see them passing by - and count the carriages.
Even if some people can be heard to say, ‘Bit late tonight, boys!’.
And yes, I do have train enthusiasts in my family.
