More than $2000 was raised for mental health research at Tatura Rotary’s spring racing extravaganza.
The annual event held on Melbourne Cup Day was as close as one could get to being at Flemington, as entertainment, fine food, betting and auctions filled the afternoon.
The sweep for the nation's show-stopping race was won by the president's table, which included six Rotary members from the Shepparton South club.
As the night rolled on, Italian Social Club members were on hand to fill hungry stomachs and refresh wine glasses.
