Community Bank Kyabram has launched its first-ever Community Investment Round, offering local organisations the opportunity to secure funding of up to $20,000 for community projects.
The initiative builds upon the bank’s existing Community Investment Program, which has already channelled more than $400,000 back into local projects since the branch’s establishment.
The bank’s model focuses on reciprocity, with profits being redirected into community initiatives through grants, sponsorships and partnerships.
Community Bank Kyabram engagement lead Nattalie Joinbee is encouraging community groups to get on board and talk about the projects they can apply for.
“This is how community banking works,” she said.
“When people choose to support our branch, profits are returned to benefit the community.
“Over time, that’s meant more than $400,000 invested back into local projects.”
Local clubs, groups and organisations can submit applications until October 31.
Successful recipients will be announced at a showcase event on Wednesday, November 19.
