Spider-Man-loving outdoor enthusiast Logan Clark-Lines, 4, from Shepparton is still his bubbly self despite being diagnosed with an optic pathway glioma in December 2025.

The diagnosis came shortly after Logan’s parents noticed that he was struggling to use one side of his body.
Doctors performed scans and Logan was referred to The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, where he underwent brain surgery to identify the type of tumour.
Logan’s mum, Holley Clark-Lines, said that considering the circumstances, “he’s doing pretty okay”.
“He’s mostly himself, he’s quite a bubbly child,” she said.
Logan’s tumour is being managed with medication, as it is in an inoperable location.
His prognosis is good, but treatment will continue over the next two years and may escalate to chemotherapy.
Logan’s parents describe him as their shining light and a fighter with an unbreakable spirit.
The travel needed for Logan’s treatment has been a financial challenge for the Clark-Lines family, as the Ronald McDonald House is sometimes full and alternative arrangements need to be made.
They have also needed to miss work and pay medical bills.
Logan’s parents started a GoFundMe to help cover their costs and have seen an outpouring of support from the community that has already raised over $14,000.
“It’s quite eye-opening. It’s definitely life changing,” said Holley.
“We’re really appreciative. Some of the people who have donated don’t even know us.”
