Goulburn-Murray Water is inviting expressions of interest for commercial land lease or licence opportunities for 16 parcels of land at the lake.
The parcels of land offer developers, investors and commercial operators opportunities to establish long-term ventures that aim to support biodiversity, recreation, renewable energy, telecommunications, tourism and workforce accommodation.
G-MW general manager water storage services Jon McKeown said expressions that provided sustainable development and positive outcomes for the region were being sought.
“Lake Eildon is one of Victoria’s most visited recreational areas, attracting around 200,000 visitors a year,” he said.
Mr McKeown said it was important that expressions aligned with existing land uses, the surrounding environment and the strategic objectives of the Activating Lake Eildon Masterplan.
All expressions will be evaluated on price, organisational capability, business plan, community benefit and experience.
Expressions must be registered via GM-W’s eProcure portal at app.eprocure.com.au/gmwater/home/public by 5pm January 30, 2026.
