Organised by the St Mary’s Parents and Friends committee, the event was a huge success, raising over $16,000 for the school.
Excitement grew with the arrival of the Mooroopna Fire Brigade and parent volunteers, who helped kick-start the festivities.
Students were sprayed with water before taking off around the track, where vibrant bursts of colour quickly transformed their white shirts into bright works of art.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali joined students and firefighters as they tackled the obstacle course — before all being well and truly slimed.
Staff members Troy Watts and Gary Woodward also joined the fun, dressing up and receiving their own colourful slime treatment.
The celebration continued with a silent disco, obstacle course challenges and plenty more colour along the way.
Foundation students enjoyed the Colour Fun Run.
