CGMBR finals in full swing

Cobram Bowls Club hosted a round of Central Goulburn Murray Bowls Region finals on Sunday.

Men's and women's fours and singles clashes were the order of the day, with Goulburn Valley Bowls Division representatives dominating proceedings.

Shepparton Golf's Brad Orr, Col Power, Wayne and John Dagger claimed success in the men's fours as Shepparton Park's Bev Cahill, Cathy Dudley, Bev Thorne and Sue Tyson managed the same in the women's event.

Kyabram product Olivia Cartwright won through to the state finals in the women's singles, while Murray Bowls Division's Ray Emerson from Barooga took out the men's competition.

Murray is hosting all of the CGMBR finals this season, with men's and women's triples and champion of champion singles next at Wunghnu Bowls Club tomorrow.

The greens were in pristine condition for the knockout contests, with News photographer Megan Fisher capturing some of the action.
