Can’t get enough of animals

Pyper relaxes with two-year-old fallow deer ‘Bambi’ after winning six waterfowl awards and first and second place in the poultry craft competition with models of a farm and an Indian Runner duck at the recent Melbourne Royal Show. The Beechworth Primary School Year 3 student also works at Farmer Darryl’s mobile animal farm, a regular feature at the show, and is determined to take her love for animals to greater heights. “I want to be a vet,” she says.
