Blighty adds music, dancing to courtroom drama

Inspector Clueless was played by Andrew. Surnames not provided due to school policy.

Small schools students and friends and family of Blighty Public School have been treated to a real theatre production with the performance of ‘Disorder in the Court’.

The Blighty school production is a drama infused with singing and dancing.

It was presented to the school community Wednesday evening last week, with a matinee performance earlier in the day for Mayrung Public School students.

The school performed the drama again Wednesday this week for Conargo Public School.

Eliza was a credible Little red Riding Hood.

Principal Leanne Hedt said the students were “wonderfully dramatic and exuded humour”.

“The evening performance under lights was a packed house,” she said.

“Blighty Public School’s P&C provided a luscious supper afterwards, and it was truly a community event.

“Many of the past students attending remembered plays they had performed there at the Blighty Hall.

“A big thanks to all who attended and gave such warm feedback.

“It truly was an occasion as all students in the school, Kindergarten to Year 6, had a part to play.”

The Three Little Pigs were played by David, Missa and Jack.
