The Bushwalkers met at The Boat Hole, near Ruffy, situated between Boggy and Hughes Creeks.
Members then followed the eastern side of Hughes Creek, down to tumbling cascades and waterfalls.
Club member Kay Johnson said the ground along the route was uneven, with lots of wombat holes.

“The cool and sunny weather was perfect,” Ms Johnson said.
“There are mostly no track to follow, but lots of weaving through very high reedy grass and across rocky beds, with some steep climbs to avoid very soggy ground.”
Ms Johnson said this was an Intermediate level walk, but a very interesting and picturesque one.
“Many thanks to Jean Lightfoot for adding this new walk to the calendar,” she said.
