Residents will be able to have their say on Greater Shepparton City Council’s services in a new community satisfaction survey.
The in-person surveys will be conducted in Greater Shepparton from March 19 to 26.
Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts on council and its services if they are approached for face-to-face surveys during this period.
Council corporate services director Chris Teitzel said individuals were encouraged to take part if they are approached in the coming days, assuring the community that in-person approaches were legitimate and conducted on council’s behalf.
“Feedback provided through the survey enables council to respond to the needs and wants of residents,” Mr Teitzel said.
“It also enables the community to share thoughts on the services, facilities and activities council provides.”
The third-quarter Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey will be conducted by research resource company Thinkfield.
Thinkfield has previously conducted in-person surveys as well as telephone interviews, with Greater Shepparton residents aged 18 and over selected at random to take part.
