Greater Shepparton City Council has launched its 2025-26 Activities in the Park summer program, a three-month lineup running from December to February and packed with more than 110 free and low-cost activities across the region.
The goal is simple: connection, activity and fun.
“Summer is a time for being outdoors and enjoying our local parks, lakes and facilities,” City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said.
“This program brings people together and helps our community stay active, social and connected.”
From stand-up paddleboarding and pedal boats to soccer clinics, fitness classes and creative sessions — not to mention the ever-popular Big Bash on the Big Screen — this year’s program mixes returning favourites with brand-new options for all ages.
Importantly, the activities aren’t limited to Shepparton.
Sessions will run in towns including Tatura, Toolamba, Dookie, Congupna, Merrigum, Tallygaroopna and Murchison, ensuring the entire region can take part.
Residents and visitors can stay updated by visiting the Activities in the Park website or following the program on Facebook and Instagram.
