From 11am to 4pm, Birdwood Ave will come alive with music from Tim Richards and JB & Me, backdropping food and wine stalls from around 20 vendors.
Plenty of family-friendly activities will also be available, including face painting, a jumping castle, and horse and cart rides.
Festival committee member Glenda Cowie said this was the festival’s fourth-year running, helping to promote Stanhope as a destination.
“It puts us on the map,” she said.
“Last year we had people from Tasmania. We’ve had people visiting from overseas to family members around town ... there were people from Melbourne, Nagambie and Bendigo.”

Initially started as part of Campaspe Shire Council’s place-based initiative, the festival has grown over the years.
Committee member Eleanor Cockroft said as the festival only required a gold-coin donation for entry, it was appealing to many people.
“It’s not costly to come. You don’t have to buy a ticket or anything like that to get here, so I think that’s in our favour,” she said.
“There’s tables and chairs set up, so you just get in a group of friends, then have a good old chat and something to eat.”
The event is made possible thanks to the Stanhope and District Development Committee’s fundraising efforts, local business sponsorship and council grants.
For safety, Birdwood Ave, parts of Monash St and surrounding lanes will be closed from 7am to 5pm. Signage will be in place.
