Spring is here and it’s time to put on your best race day attire, for the Corowa Race Club’s Melbourne Cup Eve Race Day meeting on November 2.
This year fashions on the field have been moved to the Corowa Cup meeting in March, but that shouldn’t stop patrons from putting on a show and dressing to impress.
This year there are 10 Umbrella Packages for those who want a great position trackside, along with some excellent food and other goodies.
The gates will be open at 11:30, entry is $20 for adults, $10 for pensioners and children under 16 free, entertainment will be by Ray Macartney and there will be a free Jumping Castle for the kids.
Macca’s Catering is in the canteen and will be serving plenty of delicious food, including woodfired pizzas.
Bookmakers will be on-course as will the TAB, and there are bar facilities so no BYO alcohol will be allowed.
Hopefully the weather gods will be kind and everyone will have a great day watching top class country racing.
