Australian film and TV star Shane Jacobson will speak at a Goulburn Valley Business Rural and Industry Network function.
Since starring in the Aussie movie classic Kenny, for which he won an Australian Film Industry award for best actor, Shane has continued film acting while picking up TV presenting (Top Gear Australia), and has written his recent autobiography, The Long Road to Overnight Success.
GV BRaIN was initiated in 2006 to give the business, rural and industrial communities of the Goulburn Valley an opportunity to network and access information through functions and events.
The network also endeavoured to encourage people to do their business locally and to give local businesses a chance to promote themselves.
The GV BRaIN function is at The Woolshed at Emerald Bank from 6 pm on Wednesday, March 11.
As a speaker, Shane delivers highly entertaining and engaging keynote speeches and after-dinner talks about his unique life.
His discusses his best-selling autobiography and talks about the quintessential Australian sense of humour and the dying art of joke and yarn telling.
