Mooroopna Lions Club kicked off the new year doing what members do best – giving back to the community.This time the generous donation went to help fund a big screen television for the Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre and Mooroopna library.The sizable television will bring great joy to locals taking part in activities within the two organisations, including the library's weekly classic movies session.MEAC manager Jan Phillips thanked the club for the kind $500 donation.“The Mooroopna Lions are very well known for the impact they make on our community and we are so grateful to have them,” she said.“They recognised what a great community opportunity it was to obtain the big screen,” she said.
