NEIGHBOURHOOD and community houses in Campaspe Shire have received more than $120,000 for subsidised fall prevention and exercise programs to get Campaspe Seniors on the move.

The $126,000 in funding is part of the region’s Move It project and will create opportunities for First Nations peoples 50 and over and seniors 65 and over to encourage engagement and more active lifestyles.
Kyabram: Tai Chi, Monday 5.45pm; Young at Heart, Wednesday 8.30am and 10am; Parkinson's exercise group, Monday 10.30am.
Participants can also participate in gentle aqua and water-fit classes at Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre beginning in February.
And to learn more about classes, all the above locations will hold free tryout classes in the coming weeks, starting Monday, December 2.
