Keeping cool at Aquamoves

Many children beat Friday's 38 degree heat with a dip, jump and splash in the Aquamoves pool.

Lots of kids made use of the splash park, where they had fun running around and dodging the dumping buckets.

Aquamoves’ centre manager Marcus Cook said it was a "busy day" and during the Christmas and new year period the centre averaged 2000 visitors a day.

“While the weather is still warm and with school holidays still going we expect to continue to experience this strong attendance,” Mr Cook said.

“I think it's a fantastic facility that meets the needs of the community, especially with the indoor and outdoor facilities.”
