Based in Melbourne, Mr Coulson enjoys sharing his music across Victoria and appears on the ABC Statewide Drive radio show frequently.
Mr Coulson was first introduced to the Shepparton music scene and The Winter Sessions through a fan at an event in Bendigo.
‘‘She said, ‘you gotta get on The Winter Sessions’ and I followed her advice and went online and found out more about the event,’’ Mr Coulson said.
‘‘I just put my hat in the ring.’’
Keen to get involved in the Shepparton music scene, Mr Coulson shared his interest online and was delighted to be selected in the line-up.
‘‘We’re really looking forward to getting to Shepparton and getting out in the region,’’ he said.
‘‘It’s kind of where I enjoy being most of the time.’’
Mr Coulson encouraged the community to come along and support local music.
‘‘Even if you can’t get along to my show, get out and support local music, that’s what keeps it going.’’
The Winter Sessions is on Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, at The Vault, 168 Maude St, Shepparton.
