Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is providing locals an opportunity to share their stories about health in our region in an effort to learn more about what is working well, what can be improved and ideas to better support communities in addressing health needs.

MPHN will be visiting eight towns in the region including Cootamundra, Temora, Tumut, Barham, Corowa, Holbrook, Leeton and Narrandera as part of its annual Conversations on the Couch.
MPHN CEO Melissa Neal said Conversations on the Couch forms part of MPHN’s annual Health Needs Assessment.
“Each year we look at the various sources of information available to us about the health of our region including data and feedback from community, to help us identify any new or emerging needs for us to consider as we plan our activity for 2020 and beyond,” Ms Neal said.
“We already know what data is telling us about the health needs of the Murrumbidgee and it’s important for us to know and understand from locals what people are actually experiencing.
“This is the second year we are getting to our communities for Conversations on the Couch, which had some great in depth discussion with people about what is important to people about health, and how things could be improved
“I would certainly encourage people to come and visit us while we are in town and help contribute to planning for achieving the best health outcomes for all people across the Murrumbidgee,” she said.
