Federation Council’s Mayor, Cr Patrick Bourke said Neil started work with Corowa Shire Council in 1973 as a draftsman and more recently an Engineering Assistant.
“Neil’s knowledge of roads and plans as they relate to the former Corowa Shire Council area is second to none. He is a walking encyclopedia and developed this knowledge through his many years work with survey, drawing plans, road closures, road openings, rural roads, sub divisions and flood statistics.”
“Neil is one of the longest serving staff members of the former Corowa Shire Council.” “On behalf of Council I would like to take this opportunity to thank Neil for his commitment and dedication to the Council and its communities as he starts his well-deserved retirement that we hope will be in good health,” he said.
