Greater Shepparton is set to dazzle kids and families this July with a jam-packed program of school holiday activities.

From circus thrills and writing workshops to giant games and sports clinics, there’s something for every child and the young at heart, to enjoy.

Roll Up, Roll Up - The Circus is in Town

The big top returns in spectacular fashion as Silver Circus lands at Shepparton Showgrounds from July 3 to 20.

With a dazzling mix of acrobatics, comedy, and imagination, the modern reimagining of the traditional circus promises a night of wonder.

Multiple show times are available, with tiered pricing for ringside and elevated seating.

Creative Sparks Fly

Young creatives can stretch their imaginations at the Open Craft Morning in Dookie (July 5) or dive into a full three-day Writing Workshop at The Connection at KidsTown (July 14–16), where seasonal stories will come to life in a nurturing, inspiring setting.

Games Galore in the Mall

Maude Street Mall transforms into a playful paradise with Chucklin’ Chicken and Penguin Hover Ball games on July 8, followed by Double Axe Throw and more hover ball fun on July 10.

A Circus Skills Workshop on July 12 will also invite families to try stilts, hoops and other tricks of the trade – all for free.

Library and Learning Fun

Keep things light and lively with Giant Jamenga at Shepparton Library (July 7–19) or explore the wild with RiverConnect events, including nature days, community planting and platypus-themed picnics.

Sports Lovers, Get Ready

From football to netball and basketball, the region’s budding athletes are spoilt for choice. The Shepparton Gators are running Big V basketball clinics (July 8–16), while GV Suns Soccer Camps (July 17–18) and Netstars Netball Clinic (July 15) provide the ultimate sporting boost.
