Officeworks Shepparton customers have contributed to a $650,000 donation to the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation.
Through the 2022 Officeworks Literacy is Freedom Appeal, the funds provide education resources and learning support to children and communities in need across Australia.
Customers at the Shepparton store contributed $1812 to the total amount donated, and store business manager Paul Trewren was thrilled with the contribution.
“We’d like to thank the Shepparton community for their continued support of the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation and the important work they do in our local communities,” he said.
Since 2012, Officeworks has contributed more than $4 million to the foundation and has supported more than 15,000 students.
“We are extremely grateful to Officeworks and each and every customer that has donated this year, and throughout the last decade,” ALNF co-founder and executive director Kim Kelly said.
“You are change-makers, standing with us to ensure that no child is left behind.”
