Tatura - Dunk & Skate
Council has finished building the new skate park and basketball court in Tatura. The Community Development team will run a celebration event to mark the opening of this youth spot. There will be an interactive Skateboarding workshop and a basketball workshop and much more. The free event is at the Tatura Skate Park, Memorial Place from 10.30am to 1.30pm on Monday, September 22. Shepparton Heritage Centre Museum
Discover Shepparton’s rich history at the newly refreshed Heritage Centre Museum, located at 152 Welsford St (opposite the police station). Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30am to 4pm, the museum features changing exhibitions, hidden treasures and engaging displays. School and community groups are welcome for pre-booked, tailored tours, along with casual visitors. The Shepparton Family History Group has merged with the Shepparton Heritage Centre to form The History Hub, offering access to archives, historical maps, and preserved Shepparton newspapers (open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 1pm), with an Immigration & Migration Showcase in development to celebrate the contributions of migrants from the 1920s to 1950s to the region’s agriculture and industry.
