Cat adoption days at the Shepparton Animal Shelter

The shelter has 35 cats over the age of 12 months that need new homes. Potential cat owners do not need to make an appointment, just turn up during the specified times for a meet and greet.

Shelter staff encourage people to check out the available cats online on the council’s website at https://greatershepparton.com.au/animals-environment-and-waste/animals/animal-shelter/pet-adoption/pets-for-adoption to pick out their favourite furry feline friend. There is also an online pet adoption questionnaire, which can be completed before you get to the shelter.

All cats have been vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas. Please note that kittens under 12 months are not included in the $20 adoption fee.

Everyone who adopts a cat will enter the draw to win a $100 cat pack, which includes lots of items to help your cat settle into its new home.
