Global adventures: ACE students explore Vietnam & Cambodia

From Saigon, the group travelled to Cambodia where the ancient temples of Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm took centre stage. A highlight was visiting APOPO, home of the world-famous HeroRATs trained to safely detect landmines. In Phnom Penh, students reflected on the nation’s difficult past at the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Museum, before exploring the charm of Cambodia’s capital city.

For ACE, the tour wasn’t just about sightseeing. It was an opportunity to develop resilience, cultural understanding and global awareness. Through shared experiences, new friendships and once-in-a-lifetime lessons, students returned home inspired and ready for the future.
