The ladies medal winner was Lyn Bond with net 69.
Kelly won A grade from runner-up Jimmy Poka jr net 70, Wayne Pitts was B grade runner-up; Alan Jenkin won C grade with net 70 by a shot to Felicity McCalman and Nick Metcalfe won D grade with net 68, with Lyn Bond the runner-up.
Last Thursday the ladies played stableford and the A grade winner was Mandy Phyland with 36 points, from Marg Rothwell 35, and in B grade Kathy Simpson continued her good form with 40 points, from runner-up Jenny Adamson 38. The 9 hole winner was Marg Marshall scoring 19 points.
Many players found the scoring difficult in the men’s stableford competition on Wednesday, despite the pleasant summer conditions, with the exception being Spencer Thompson who had 43 points to win C grade.
A grade winner with 37 was Wayne Hodgson by a shot to Josh Hunt; Alan Lord won B grade with 39 from Kirk Thompson 37, and C grade runner-up was Ken Pearce on 37.

We have a couple of busy weekends of golf coming up.
Tomorrow is the Borella Cup and Rita Barnes Goblet, and on Sunday we have the Rhinos Charity Day which is a four-person ambrose. Book online.
Next weekend is the Life Members’ Summer Classic, which is played on January 22 and 23. This is a four person teams event in stableford format with best three scores to count each day.
A Mixed Fourball Pennant competition between Deniliquin, Barham, Rich River and Murray Downs will start on Sunday February 13, with 14 players required each week. If interested please put your name on the list in the pro shop.
Finally, Friday Night Fun is back after the holiday break. Excellent meals are available (bookings preferred), and raffle tickets will be on sale from 6pm with draws at 7.30pm.
