On a remarkable 26-game winning streak, the Kangaroos can become the first outfit to win back-to-back premierships with victory over Brisbane in Saturday night's grand final.
"Any team going back-to-back is massive, but we can't really think about that too much," Garner said.
"We'll prepare well and go into the game ready. We're looking forward to it."
North's record-breaking run almost came to an end in their preliminary final, when Melbourne shot 19 points clear in the first quarter.
But the Kangaroos clawed back their opponents to reach a third consecutive decider against Brisbane.
Garner dismissed suggestions the winning streak has been weighing on her teammates with another premiership on the line.
"We try to stay in the moment with that and try not to think too far ahead," Garner said.
"Ash (Riddell) spoke about it at the start of the week, prelims can be a little different and there were a few nerves going into that game, just because you're not there yet.
"Being three goals down in a prelim is not ideal, but we responded to that and got ourselves back in the game.
"I think the girls are ready for tomorrow night."
Garner has been arguably the AFLW's best player over the past few seasons and was rewarded this year with her third AFLW Players Association MVP award.
The 31-year-old midfield star was also named All-Australian captain for the third time in four years, and won a record-equalling eighth blazer in her first season as North skipper.
"I've always thought that her growth would lead her to this," Kangaroos coach Darren Crocker said.
"We just love the way she just does her each and every day, comes in and sets a great standard for all the other players in her own manner.
"She's very unflappable and measured in her approach, and when she does speak up it carries a lot of weight because everyone respects her so much within our program, and I think even in the wider football community.
"She's done an outstanding job."
Brisbane will start underdogs in the grand final but are on a nine-game winning streak as they seek their own slice of history.
Premiers in 2021 and 2023, the Lions can match Adelaide's AFLW record of three flags if they upset the Kangaroos.
