De Minaur has been on a hardcourt tear in 2025 and on Monday scored his 38th victory on the surface this season.
The Australian, ranked No.7 in the world, proved far too good for Jurij Rodionov, crushing the local hope 6-4 6-1 in their round-of-32 clash at the ATP tournament in the Austrian capital.
De Minaur's straight-sets win was not simply a tour-leading 38th hardcourt triumph of the season, it also marked his 300th tour-level victory.
He became only the second player born in 1999 or later to have achieved the milestone. The Aussie roadrunner is in pretty decent company too, the only other player to have achieved the feat being four-time major winner and world No.2 Jannik Sinner.
"It's pretty cool,'' de Minaur said during an on-court celebration on Monday.
"You go through this sport, through your career, and you don't really get time or many options to really let something sink in.
"This is one of those things that is a pretty cool moment, to get to 300.
"Obviously it seems what has been a long career, and I've enjoyed those 300 victories.''
De Minaur was at his bustling best against the Austrian world No.154, who competed well in the first set but missed converting a couple of break points in the fifth game.
Rodionov's game fell apart in the second set as the third-seeded de Minaur cruised to victory in 80 minutes.
De Minaur, who claimed his 10th career title when he took out the Washington Open in July, is seeded behind Sinner and world No.3 Alexander Zverev in Vienna.
