The cause of a fire at a property in Hooper Rd, Tatura, that took place this morning is under investigation.
District 22 duty officer Pete Dedman said CFA were called to the fire around 5.45am after a passer-by saw smoke coming from the property.
Six appliances and one field command vehicle from North West Mooroopna, Mooroopna, Shepparton and Tatura attended the blaze which caused damage to two sheds and a shipping container.
It is believed the fire spread to the contents within the shed and the neighbouring shipping container which was full of items.
Mr Dedman said the cause was currently being investigated by police as the property was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
‘‘The cause is still under investigation and police are now undertaking their own investigation into the cause because the property was unoccupied at the time,’’ he said.
No one was injured in the blaze.
