Eucalyptus complete the three-peat

Perfect weather assisted the St Michaelâ€™s Primary School students to perform their best at the annual school athletics carnival.

Eucalyptus was the winning house, narrowly defeating Acacia for the third year in a row.

The parent leader ball team also had a close win against Year 6.

Athletics champions for 2019 were as follows:

Junior Girl Champion - Arabella Bliss, runner-up - Ava Marshall; Junior Boy Champion - Oscar Wren, runner -up - Henry Robinson; 11 Year Girl - Aysha Mitsch, runner-up - Carla Crossley; 11 Year Boy - Oscar Marshall, runner-up - Sam Crossley; 12/13 Year Girl - Ava Robinson, runner-up - Sophie Norris; 12/13 Year Boy - Ben Crossley, runner-up - Sam Sides.

A total of 44 children qualified for the Cluster Carnival to be held in Deniliquin on Monday, August 5.
