“We’re fun and funky retail with a difference,” owner Sharryn Smith said.
“It’s an eclectic array of stuff with a lot of local artists thrown into the mix.”
Artists and crafty folk sell their creations through Tinkers Twist, making it the perfect place to find original pieces from Goulburn Valley artists.
It’s the perfect place to find that special gift for yourself (or others) to complete a home or garden.
“There’s something for everyone, something quirky you’re not going to find at Kmart,” Sharryn said.
Tinkers Twist is the quirkiest shop in Tatura.
It’s a small shop and Sharryn has to be creative with space but she has managed to fill it with all sorts of interesting items she has acquired from all over northern Victoria.
There is also a book exchange with new and used books — some for sale and some for borrowing and swapping.
Not a lot of people use it because they don’t know it’s there, and Sharryn said she would love to see more people using the book exchange.
“There’s tons of books,” she said.
“I’m a book lover and I would like to see people using it.”
