It was an amazing effort by the girls today. Everyone really pushed themselves to their absolute limits. It was an extremely physical game but everyone kept their heads to come out with a really good win.

Great defensive pressure was displayed, which produced some great turnovers. Although it was a loss for Berrigan, we came back fighting in the last quarter. As a team we are still figuring out what works well but we are getting there.

What a win. We worked hard all day and the results show it. Sam Henderson and Paula Gowans were on fire in the ring, working so beautifully together and rarely missing a shot. The hard work from our midcourts made our shooters’ jobs easier with easy passages and feeding into the ring. The defence worked hard all day helping to secure the win.

C-res had a cracking game. It was a bit of a rough first quarter but we battled hard to win by 12. All the girls had a great game. With a few new faces again to our team they blended in perfectly. Very good job by all involved.

A great win with our midcourt pressure taking the turnovers. The defenders played man-on-man and the shooters moved to the space.

The Saints ran out full steam ahead against visiting team Yarroweyah. The defensive turnovers were quick, the midcourters cleared out and made space and the shooters had their goals on point to take our team to victory. Well done taking the four points.

There was lots of movement and some great sportsmanship from the older under-11s, directing our little ones. In just a few short weeks our youngest Sainters have improved immensely.
