Avenel's Jock Lawrence and Broadford's Steph Lauder have been nominated for the small business achievement award as part of the 7News Young Achiever Awards.

The purpose of the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards is to acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of all young people throughout each state up to and including 29 years of age as of December 31 each year.
Mr Lawrence has been nominated for his work establishing livestock farm management software Mobble, while Miss Lauder has been nominated for her work in starting up her own beauty salon, Steph Lauder Beauty.
Judging for the awards will be completed on March 3 before the presentation dinner, which will be held on April 16.
Category winners will receive $2000 worth of prizes and a trophy.
One of the category winners will also be named the 2021 Victorian Young Achiever of the Year.
