County Helicopters has been operating for more than 25 years and offers helicopter and drone services including aerial stock mustering; feral animal control; aerial fertiliser and aerial spraying operations; frost mitigation for orchards, vineyards and potatoes; forestry services; crop analysis services; greenhouse spraying; and mosquito control.
The drones can deliver spray to areas which may otherwise be impossible or difficult to reach.
County Helicopters uses commercial-scale drones and the operators hold certificates for flying and licences for the use of chemicals.
All applications are applied using the latest technology in DGPS satellite guidance, flow control and data capture.
Extensive spray pattern testing, droplet spectrum and new technology capture testing is carried out on an annual basis to ensure precise applications.
As well as the demonstrations at Seymour expo, County Helicopters will offer XAg Drones for sale.
County Helicopters operate from three bases — Ballarat in Victoria. and Clare and Virginia in South Australia.
