Backstage — A salute to Gene Pitney
It’s been 20 years since the world lost one of the most distinctive and powerful voices of the 1960s: Gene Pitney. With a career spanning more than four decades, Pitney was a true international superstar, achieving chart-topping success across the US, UK, and Australia with timeless hits such as Twenty Four Hours from Tulsa, Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart, Only Love Can Break a Heart, and Town Without Pity. His unmistakable voice, dramatic delivery and heartfelt performances made him one of the most admired singers of his era. Now, internationally renowned performer Glenn Starr and his incredible live band bring Gene’s legacy back to the stage in a breathtaking two-hour concert experience through stunning live performances, captivating visuals and stories that celebrate Pitney’s life and music.
