An Echuca man has been arrested on more than 30 outstanding warrants relating to alleged assault, shop stealing and theft offences.

Echuca police arrested the 28-year-old on Tuesday, September 8, before remanding him in custody to appear at Bendigo Magistrates' Court the following day.
Harlem Penn has been charged with a range of alleged theft-related offences, as well as aggravated assault in relation to an incident at a shop on Anstruther Street on August 31.
Police allege Penn attempted to steal a one-litre carton of juice from the store. When a woman in her 70s asked him to return the item, he allegedly threw the carton, striking her in the head, before fleeing the scene.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was left shaken by the incident.
Penn was further remanded in custody and is due to reappear at Bendigo Magistrates' Court on September 15.
