Winner of $5000 Ag Society Scholarship announced

Anastasia is commencing studies in veterinary science at Charles Sturt University, which is known for producing veterinarians with a particular interest in animal production systems and agricultural enterprises.

The society accepts a number of fields of study for scholarship applicants, with the provision being that the winner aspires to work in the rural community.

The scholarship was established in 1999, with many students having been assisted by it since.

Thanks to community support and generous donations, the grant now stands at $5000.

The society wishes Anastasia all the best with her studies in Wagga Wagga, and in the future, making a difference to the rural community.
