Now in its 16th year, the show will also feature plenty of free activities for kids, such as face painting, an animal nursery, electric bus rides and a sausage sizzle with fruit.
Seventeen awards are up for grabs, including the new Mayor’s Choice Award to be presented by Mayor Shane Sali in honour of 70 years of S.Sali & Sons, the interstate trucking company founded by his uncles.
Motor show committee member Denis Muto extended an invitation to the wider community.
“Come along and enjoy the rich history of the area,” he said.
Emergency vehicles from Shepparton police and Shepparton Search and Rescue Squad will be on display, and the rescue team will demonstrate how emergency equipment can be used to dismantle a car.
Money raised will go back to the community through charities supported by the Rotary club.
Funds from last year’s event were used to purchase $5000 worth of hay, which was sent to support farmers recovering from the Longwood bushfire.
Tickets are available at the door for $5 per adult, and children under 12 can enter for free.
