Held at the club’s Max Kirwan Ski Park, the Ski Show Nationals have been described as “the greatest show on water”, resembling a stage performance filled with entertainment, dancing and, of course, incredible waterskiing stunts.
Spectators can expect trick skiing, jumps, ballet on water, pro wakeboarders, sky skis, breathtaking pyramids and much more.
Three state teams will compete for the national title: NSW, Victoria and Western Australia.
Members of the Mulwala Water Ski Club’s show team make up most of the NSW squad, which will be aiming to defend its title and claim a sixth national championship, further cementing its place as Australia’s elite show ski team.
The action kicks off at 8am on Friday, March 21, with individual and doubles swivel and freestyle jump competitions.
Team events begin at 8am on Saturday, March 21, with local skiers representing the NSW team performing at 11.40am.
Teams will then compete in the finals from 8am on Sunday, March 22.
Entry to the ski park is free.
