After a weekend off for the long weekend players are preparing to hit the courts for the first two rounds of the finals this weekend.

GM2 Elimination Final Kyabram Bombers vs Euroa Back Markers
Previous result: Euroa Back Markers 5-60 Defeated Kyabram Bombers 6-56
In GM2 there will be a replay of last years elimination final in which Euroa were able to get the best of the Bombers.
This year the Bombers fell four games short in a match up where the team was made up of mostly fill ins meaning that both teams are going in blind to this match up.
The Bombers will be led by their dominant number one man Regan More and number one woman Rhiann Eddy.
These two have been the dominant forces in the competition and will be looking to lead from the front.
They will be supported by club stalwarts Sheree and David Starling whose experience is something that will anchor the team.
Completing the family affair young guns Kade and Tayla Starling will be looking to build on impressive seasons in order to secure a victory for the Bombers.
The team is rounded out by Xavier Dodos who continues to improve every week.
The Bombers will be looking to go better than their previous best result of a preliminary final appearance.
In order to do this the Bombers will need to beat Euroa and then defeat the loser of the Qualifying Final between McEwan Reserve and Shepparton Lawn Demons to make their maiden appearance in the grand final.
The final will be played at Shepparton Lawn with a date at Numurkah on Sunday if they can get the win.
GM3 Qualifying Final Kyabram Bombers vs Karramomus.

On the back of an undefeated season the GM3 Kyabram Bombers will be looking to secure a passage straight through to the grand final with a match up against second on the ladder Karramomus.
The two teams only match up of the season was an instant classic with a two-game victory for the Bombers that was decided in the final matchup of the day.
The Bombers have been strong all season and have shown that the have some of the best team depth in the competition.
On the Men’s side the Bombers are led by team captain Mitchell Cox and club stalwart Greg Tarrant. Evan Cooknell continues to show his incredible strength at the club in his first season in GM3.
Zane Sutton and Ben Dickens round out a men’s side that has been one of the strongest in the competition.
Taylor Sutton and Abby Prycroft lead to way on the women’s side of the team with their unique combination of heavy spin and consistency proving them a handful for opposition.
Marissa Hooper in her first season back after some time off has been a revelation for the team.
Alyssa Christou rounds out the team and has shown that she has a bright future at the club with strong performances in the back half of the season.
The Bombers will also play at Shepparton Lawn on the Saturday hoping for a straight passage to the following weeks grand final.
GM3 Elimination Final Kyabram Redbacks vs Numurkah Penguins
Previous Result: Kyabram Redbacks 8-84 Defeated Numurkah Penguins 4-60
In the second match up in the GM3 finals series the Redbacks will take on a Numurkah Penguins side in a grand final replay from a year ago.
Earlier in the season the Redbacks managed to get a strong twenty-four game victory against a strong Numurkah side.
However, the teams will look different compared to their match up earlier in the season.
The Redbacks have unfortunately been hit by injuries.
The Redbacks Women have been the strongest in the competition and this weekend will be led by club life member Susie Bennett whose experience will be invaluable in the match up.
Shylee Donaldson has continued to progress in her second season of senior tennis and will look to continue her strong form.
Sue Carrol in her first season of senior tennis has also been strong and will look to lead a strong female line up.
On the Men’s side Sam McConnell and Darren Woodcock will look to lead the way for the Redbacks and have been a formidable pairing.
The experience of George Brega and Barry Norton will also prove invaluable in the pressure cooker environment of finals tennis. The Redbacks will take to the courts of Shepparton looking to make it through to a Preliminary Final which will be played at Numurkah Lawn in a match up against the loser of the Kyabram Bombers and Karramomus match up.
GM4 Open Elimination Final Kyabram Bombers vs Karramomus

In GM4 Open the Bombers will be flying the Kyabram flag in an attempt to defend their premiership from a season ago.
The Bombers are going in blind to this match up as the only scheduled match up between the teams this season was heated out.
The Bombers will be led by Scott Hausler who in his second season of tennis has stepped up into the number one player role beautifully.
Hausler will be supported by Perry Jackson, Cameron Heard and team captain Michael Argaet.
The team has also been led by best and fairest winner Max Hausler who in his first season has shown that he has a big future in tennis.
Amy Harrison rounds out the team and is also a stronger member of the team having strong results in the last part of the year.
The Bombers will take on Karramomus at Tatura Lawn Tennis Club on Saturday with a chance to move forward into a Preliminary Final at Shepparton Lawn on the Sunday against the loser of the Qualifying final of the ladder leading Tongala and Tatura Twisters.
