Speed limit reductions to be introduced on roads in Shepparton’s south-east

Greater Shepparton City Council has advised that several roads in Shepparton’s south-east will have speed limits reduced from Monday, March 23.

The changes follow a traffic engineering assessment and a review of the current and future needs of the area, which has seen increased residential development.

Council infrastructure director Gary Randhawa said “these speed limit changes will help ensure our local road network remains safe and suitable as Shepparton South East continues to grow”.

Poplar Ave from Streeton Dve to 200m east of Doyles Rd will be reduced from 80km/h to 60km/h.

Feiglin Rd from Poplar Ave to Channel Rd will be reduced from 100km/h to 50km/h.

Channel Rd from Da Vinci Dve to Orrvale Rd will be reduced from 80km/h to 60km/h.
