Wet weather has delayed repair work and extended closure of KidsTown

Greater Shepparton City Council infrastructure director Gary Randhawa said “it’s important we take the time needed to complete these works safely and correctly”.

Mayor Shane Sali said council appreciated the community’s patience.

“We’re excited for what’s ahead, and this short delay brings us one step closer to the future vision for KidsTown,” he said.

KidsTown is expected to reopen following the completion of works and final safety inspections, with an expected opening on Saturday, March 21.
