The free community event will be held on Sunday, March 29, drawing thousands to the Queen’s Gardens for a unique cultural experience.
The festival celebrates Albanian heritage through music, dance, family activities and authentic cuisine.
Entertainment will begin at 11am, featuring traditional Albanian music and live dance performances by the Melbourne Eagle Folk Dance Group and the Shepparton Albanian community.
Plus, a dedicated kids’ zone to ensure entertainment for the whole family.
A major highlight of the day is the popular fruit and vegetable market, where attendees can buy fresh produce at wholesale prices, much of it grown locally in the Goulburn Valley.
Over the past two decades, attendance has skyrocketed, attracting not only local crowds but also visitors from Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
In fact, it is recognised as one of the largest community-run events in Greater Shepparton.
“(The ongoing success) demonstrates that there is a keen interest in people travelling to Shepparton to experience a multicultural event,” organisers said.
