Friday, March 6 is World Day of Prayer, which will be held in Jerilderie at St Andrew’s Uniting Church at 10am.
The theme for this year, prepared by the Christian women of Nigeria, is “I will give you rest: Come.”
Saturday, March 7, will see the return of the Jerilderie Fun Fair.
Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, is on Wednesday February 18.

Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary will be holding its first meeting for 2026 on Thursday February 26, at 2pm in the meeting room at the hospital. New members always welcome.

Apologies and congratulations to Amity Ewart, whose name as Little Aussie Award winner was not included last week in this column with the other Jerilderie Australia Day award recipients, John Crittenden, Chloe Rorato, Charlie Rorato and Milla Rorato.
Milla represented St Joseph’s School, and Amity represented Jerilderie Public School.

Jerilderie CWA handicraft will resume after the break tomorrow, Thursday February 12 at 10am.
This will be followed by our monthly meeting on Thursday February 19 at 1.30pm.
