About 150 people gathered at Railway Square in Elmore on Australia Day for the annual Community Breakfast, to enjoy a morning of food, music and local connection.

The event marked the return of the breakfast to Railway Square, a move that received an overwhelmingly positive response from locals, with many welcoming the central location.

The morning included the raising of the Australian flag and singing of the national anthem.
Long-time community member Russ Holmberg had the honour of raising the flag in recognition of his decades of service to Elmore.
Music from the Pipe Band provided a fitting backdrop as attendees shared breakfast and caught up with friends and neighbours.

Guest speaker Lorraine Trewick reflected on her longtime involvement with the Elmore Field Days and the Ag Art Wear project.
Pieces of her work were on display at the Campaspe Run, which was open alongside the Elmore Museum, for attendees to enjoy throughout the morning.

The Elmore Lions Club played a key role in the event, cooking and serving breakfast for the community, with support from volunteers and the Elmore Progress Association events committee.
Organisers reported strong positive feedback from attendees, noting the smooth running of the event and the value of bringing the community together to mark Australia Day.
