The Cobram Uniting Church ladies will be flipping pancakes for afternoon tea on Monday, February 16 in Irvin Hall, just before the beginning of Lent.
All proceeds from the afternoon will be donated to a local charity or project in Cobram.
Uniting Church Ladies Guild president Margaret Watson said the volunteers did the pancake lunch every year and had previously donated to Moira FoodShare, the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the SES.
“Everyone is welcome to come along at 1.30pm and enjoy a delicious pancake afternoon tea with ice-cream and a variety of fruits and toppings to choose from,” she said.
“Come along and bring your friends to enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship.”
Mrs Watson said the inspirational Ruth Ritchie would be a guest speaker at the lunch.
“Ruth has lived all her life in Cobram and made a major contribution to her community,” she said.
“Ruth has a great story not to be missed and will no doubt be of interest to all.”
Admission is $10.
