A winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1756, drawn on Monday, January 19, was sold at Lovells Shepparton Newsagency on Wyndham Street. The mystery ticketholder now has a first prize win worth $200,000.
Because the ticket wasn’t registered with The Lott Members Club, officials are waiting for the lucky winner to check their ticket and come forward.
Lovells co-owner Louise Lovell-Brown said the win was welcome news for the community.
“It’s such exciting news, and we’re thrilled one of our customers has hit it big,” she said. “After everything we’ve been through lately, this is a wonderful boost.”
The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg urged anyone who bought a ticket from the store to check.
“Imagine discovering you’ve started the year $200,000 richer,” she said.
“That winning ticket could be anywhere — in a wallet, handbag or even the glovebox.”
The winner is encouraged to contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin their claim.
